Compliance with data regulation

Accountor Software are committed to ensuring transparency and compliance with applicable EU data regulations.

Where we operate

Our group of companies, and the infrastructure of the data processing services we provide, operate under the jurisdiction of multiple EU and EEA Member States. The jurisdiction applied to ICT infrastructure used for data processing may depend on several factors, such as the physical location of the infrastructure, the location where the processing activities are conducted, and the domicile of the service provider. Most of our companies and their domicile are listed in General Privacy Statement – Procountor in the section Companies in Accountor Software Business.

Porting data from the service

If you are a new customer to our services, our teams will, when necessary, assist you in getting your existing data imported into our service.

If you are changing away from us to another service provider, we will assist your migration in good faith and ensure the continuity of the service during the switch.

Service-specific documentation, which is available to our customers and in connection with making the service agreement, includes more information on the following:

  • Standard service fees and potential switching charges until January 11, 2027.
  • Data formats and procedures for switching and porting from our data processing services.

Protecting data

To mitigate the risks of international governmental access outside EU/EEA to customer data, we implement a range of technical, organisational, and contractual safeguards, in accordance with European Union and EU Member State laws. These safeguards include e.g. data encryption, access controls, staff training and guidelines, and contractual limitations on third-party access.
